- “The entire property was remarkably peaceful. It went way beyond our expectations. The Grindelwald cabin was cozy and quaint. We loved everything about Barons Creek Side. The cabin was equipped with a small fridge, a microwave, a small toaster oven, hot plate, a coffee maker (with coffee, creamer and sweetener/sugar!), dishes, some orange juice, a small BBQ pit right out side, a jacuzzi tub, fireplace and a gorgeous view from different sides of the cabin. It was close enough to town that we didn’t take anything with us and just went to shop for snacks and food to grill when we got into town. There is a fire pit, we did not take advantage of it but there is one where you can sit around. Honestly, just getting up and sitting outside with the quiet and peacefulness was enough for me. Thank you for creating this little piece of heaven for the rest of us. – Peter & Cathy McKinney, TX
- “If you’re going to the Texas Wine Country, this is the place to stay! The cottages are so comfortable and clean. They have everything in them you could possibly need! The grounds are beautiful and we loved the very friendly ducks. You can tell the owner put a ton of love into this place. It’s super close to many wineries and Main Street, but when you’re there you feel like you are out on a country ranch. The restaurant is great and was busy with live music on a Saturday night. The restaurant is situated away from the cottages, so you still get a quite get away even if the restaurant is full. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.” – Michelle M. Spring, TX
- “I held a company retreat at Barons CreekSide for 10 associates in my department. The communication was exceptional and all of our needs were met. Barons catered our breakfast and lunch each day. The food was excellent. We met in “The Club” for our meeting portion. We had plenty of room and a nice, large TV to show presentation material. The cabins are all well kept, very comfortable, and exude rustic charm. Three of us stayed in the 3 bedroom/3 bath lodge. It is the largest home on the property and provided plenty of space for our group to gather during the evenings to visit. The property is gorgeous and full of tame deer to enjoy prior to sunset. My team enjoyed this venue very much. It would have been the same price as a Riverwalk venue in San Antonio… but was much more intimate and fun.” – Toni P. San Antonio, TX
